Soo....week 9 weight in was so traumatizing that i was to ashamed to post about it. I have been working so hard, up to almost 6 miles a week jogging/walking and doing Richards. I splurged two days, one on two pieces of pizza and one on a taco salad and I gained weight this week, all week I have really had to push myself to keep going. I want this though, I want to be healthy and I will not give up! I have been keeping up with my running and feeling great! I have been watching my eating and eating less but not really counting calories so that is a big goal of mine and I could use prayer for strength in this area! See you on Monday all for week 10 weight in.
Week 9 weight in!
starting weight: 247.0
todays weight: 235.8
total so far: 11.4 lbs

Don't get discouraged. It's only a few ounces and honestly, I think you should look at how you feel rather than what you're losing and not losing. If you really have been doing 6 miles one thing you should probably think about is the muscle mass. I'm sure you've heard this before but muscle weighs more than fat. Your body is probably in a maintenance period, which is good, because it's less likely that you'll gain the weight back after you stop aggressively dieting when you're body plateaus. Honestly, two pizzas and a taco salad are not going to be detrimental to your diet. I've actually heard that when you're dieting it's better to give yourself a little of what you're craving then to deprive yourself and eat something other than what you really want because you'll end up eating more than what you would if you would have just eaten the cookie or whatever. Don't beat yourself up over a few ounces gained. Look at my weight 2 weeks ago, I gained 1.6 ponds!! You can't exactly say that was muscle. ;o) Anyway, all that to say, it's okay, you're doing good and I really think you should be allowed to treat yourself to a slice or two of pizza every now and then, otherwise, when you reach your goal weight you won't have a clue what to eat or do with yourself.
